Without Volunteers and Parent involvement, FWCFA would not be a success. The League offers several positions for parents to get involved:
- Coach - Be a big part of the team and mentorship for these young men. Coaches will run practices, games and be involved in team activities. Each Coach is required to participate in the Play-Like-A-Champion training program and safety clinics hosted by the League. Coaches will also be required to undergo a background check ($13) when registering to Coach.
- Assistant Coach - Assistant Coaches are just as important in the team development and mentorship. Assistant Coaches will be asked to assist during practices and games. Assistant Coaches will also be required to undergo a background check and participate in the Play-Like-A-Champion training program and safety clinics.
- Team Manager - Team Managers are the voice of the team and are responsible for all team communications regarding practices, games, etc. through our unique online team access system. Team Managers are responsible for keeping parents informed on upcoming events and get to post cool news and tips on the Team Wall. Team Managers may be asked to perform other tasks to help out the Coaches and Assistant coaches.
- Game Day Volunteer - These volunteers will be asked to assist with marking the downs and other game day related activities.
